DPF is the abbreviation for diesel particulate filter. It is a device that uses filtration to reduce particulate matter in exhaust gas. DPF is mainly installed in the exhaust system of diesel vehicles to filter and reduce particulate matter in the exhaust gas. The filtration efficiency of DPF for particulate matter and particulate matter is 95% and 99%, respectively. There are two main regeneration system technologies for DPF, active regeneration and passive regeneration. Active regeneration refers to the complete oxidation of carbon particles into carbon dioxide when the engine exhaust temperature rises to 600 degrees Celsius. Passive regeneration refers to the process in which nitric oxide in the exhaust gas is oxidized by dissolved organic carbon in DPF to generate nitric oxide. Passive regeneration can remove particulate matter from DPF and avoid increasing gasoline consumption during active regeneration, which helps to save gasoline.
